Ruhamah has been volunteering with Pregnancy Help Centers for the past 13 yrs. She developed a strong compassion for the young men (fathers of the unborn babies) after hearing the stories of the young women who attend the centers for guidance and help. These young women have a strong desire to maintain the relationships with the biological fathers of their children. Unfortunately most of the young men were not fathered themselves and need instructions and guidance. Ruhamah has been a small business owner (Content Family Home Care) for about 10 years. Since December 2016 she and her husband have been house parents for unwed, homeless pregnant mothers for LifeHouse Houston at their Richmond Campus. Ruhamah's faith in God is strong and she presently worships at Parkway Fellowship church with her husband David. She volunteers in several ministries at Parkway. Ruhamah is the mother of three grown children and six grandchildren. Her motto is ‘’Do unto others as you would like them to do to you’’
